Running Club coach: Ms. Blazak. Run club is held ½ hour on Wed and Fri am 8-8:30 and any student in 3-5 grade can participate. You can join run club even if you are not in track with a permission slip. You must bring water and remember to Keep it REAL.

Create and Edison Spirit Song or Chant: Due 4/14 today at Noon
Student council is hosting a competition for a schoolwide Spirit Song or Schoolwide Chant that we can sing/chant at assemblies.
Must include Edison or Edison Eagles,
has Keeping it Real (Respect, Empathy, Awareness, Learning).
No copywriting of lyrics but background music ok.
Positive message,
Can work with another student and/or your parents.
Send to Principal Okazaki so anyone can see it by 4/14/25.
Student Council will vote for the song/chant, the winner will receive a $30 Amazon gift card, and the whole school will learn/sing it.
Parking Lot: No Drop off or Pick up in Staff Parking Lot
Please use morning valet in the lot by North High for drop off in the morning. Thank you.
Family Math Night 4.24 6:00 PM @ Cafeteria

ATTENDANCE - KEEP YOUR CHILDREN AT HOME IF THEY ARE SICK
In an abundance of caution, please keep your child at home if they are ill. Be sure to contact our school health assistant, Ms. Lajoy Atkins if you think your child has any Covid Symptoms, needs to quarantine/isolate due to Covid positive, or just for any advice about your child’s illness. You can reach our health tech at atkins.lajoy@tusd.org, or call 310-533-4513 x 2883.
If your child is absent for any other reason, please email EdisonAttendance@tusd.org, email the teacher or call the office and dial extension #2.
If your child will be absent three or more days up to 15 days maximum, please contact your child’s teacher and the office for an independent contract to get a work packet and receive attendance credit.
