SPORTSCENTER UPDATE:
Last week Cuddle team played Peely and it was a tie. Meowscles played Midas and Midas won! This week tomorrow 4/1 Brite Bomber vs. Cuddle Team and 4/3 Peely vs. Renegade Rider.

Create and Edison Spirit Song or Chant: Due 4/14 After Break
Student council is hosting a competition for a schoolwide Spirit Song or Schoolwide Chant that we can sing/chant at assemblies.
Must include Edison or Edison Eagles,
has Keeping it Real (Respect, Empathy, Awareness, Learning).
No copywriting of lyrics but background music ok.
Positive message
Can work with another student and/or your parents.
Send to Principal Okazaki so anyone can see it by 4/14/25.
Student Council will vote for the song/chant, the winner will receive a $30 Amazon gift card, and the whole school will learn/sing it.
Multicultural Week Celebration 3/31 - 4/4
Grade Level Competition
M- Postponed to Thursday. Dress in clothing from your culture or a different culture. Students got points if they wore Red or Edison gear.
T- Wear a piece of clothing with words from a different language
W- Wear a sports jersey from a country
Th- Dress in clothing from your culture or a different culture
F- Wear the colors of a flag
Multicultural food celebration April 3 - Bring food to share that is special to your culture. Sign up HERE. Student Council will be selling beverages.

ATTENDANCE - KEEP YOUR CHILDREN AT HOME IF THEY ARE SICK
In an abundance of caution, please keep your child at home if they are ill. Be sure to contact our school health assistant, Ms. Lajoy Atkins if you think your child has any Covid Symptoms, needs to quarantine/isolate due to Covid positive, or just for any advice about your child’s illness. You can reach our health tech at atkins.lajoy@tusd.org, or call 310-533-4513 x 2883.
If your child is absent for any other reason, please email EdisonAttendance@tusd.org, email the teacher or call the office and dial extension #2.
If your child will be absent three or more days up to 15 days maximum, please contact your child’s teacher and the office for an independent contract to get a work packet and receive attendance credit.
